Please Help Out A Fellow Classmate!

Hello Class of 2005. I just wanted to let you all know that I entered Live with Regis and Kelly's Wild and Wacky Talent competition playing the piano backwards. After a few weeks, I made it through the preliminaries. That means I am in the running for the grand prize of $20,000! I would appreciate your vote and your help in spreading the word! The vote opens Friday September 10th and closes Sunday September 13th. Go to www.regisandkelly.go.com, click on the talent contest link and it should walk you through the steps to register and vote. Friday Night Cancellation, Saturday Still On

Unfortunately we have had to cancel our Friday night celebrations. However, Saturday afternoon in the city park from 12-2 pm is still scheduled and planned. Hopefully you can all make it and feel free to bring your family!

So Ryan Kunz got in touch with the powers-that-be and we now have an official date for our five-year reunion:

Friday, July 30, 7-10 pm, RHS Commons
Saturday, July 31, 12-2 pm, City Park

Fun-Filled & Fabulous Ideas!

Okay everyone, what we're looking for now are some great ideas of what we should do for our 5-year reunion! Feel free to put anything out there! We can't guarantee every good idea but remember, we can always save some things for our 10-year reunion as well. Once we get down what we're going to do then we'll start asking for help...or maybe begging for it :)

Do you have a business?

I know that lots of us have either started our own business, work with family, or work from home. If you want to post a link to your website or business blog let me know and I'll put it on here. I can also add buttons for your business if you would rather. This is a great way to share what we are doing in our lives!

A Tentative Reunion Date

Well, from the feedback we got from some of you, Ryan Kunz and I think that July 30-31 would be the best time to have our class reunion. He is going to check on some scheduling to make sure that we can actually do it, but at least set that date aside to get together! I'm really excited about this. I have spent the last couple of days reading up on all the blogs we have (mostly contributed by Amber) and it's been lots of fun getting to know all of you a little better. I can't wait to see a lot of you this summer and meet your families!

What we need now are some ideas of what you guys would like to do!

By the way, I organized our blog list by last name on the left. I used maiden names because I figured if you were looking for someone specific that would be the easiest way to find them. Hopefully everyone is okay with that. I also noted classmates that were married but linked the blog under both of their names. Please, please, please let me know if you have a blog or read someone else's.

Also, please feel free to send me updates and pictures about your life and family to put on this blog too. It doesn't matter if it's big or small news, we want to hear about it!

Class of 2005 Blog

Welcome to the official blog for Rigby High School's Class of 2005! It's crazy to think that it's already been 5 years since we graduated. Hopefully this will be a place where we can all reconnect and keep in touch. Feel free to post and comment on important announcements, good news, and little updates as often as you want. If you want something posted you will need to e-mail me (Stacey) at tate_girl@hotmail.com. I can post the information for you or make you an author so that you can post yourself! Please put "blog post" in the e-mail subject so that I don't end up deleting or putting unknown e-mails in the trash.

Also, I will try to keep an updated list of our blogs. You can e-mail me the link or comment on this post to let me know what your blog address is. And if you know of other classmates that have blogs please let me know those addresses as well. It's so easy for life to keep us busy and to lose touch with people so hopefully we can keep this blog updated and find time to check in with each other!

Right now we are in the process of planning our 5-year class reunion. I will post information on this blog about where, when, and what is going on with that. One of the important things is that we find everyone we can. It would help a lot if you could e-mail all names, addresses, e-mails, and phone numbers to rigby.05@hotmail.com and this will hopefully be a safe and secure place to keep all of that information. Don't post that information on this blog as it is a public site. If you feel comfortable with other classmates having your address, e-mail and/or phone number let me know and I will print out a list for the reunion, if not, don't worry about it.
